Oximeter Review - How I chose mine
73Oximeter- How I chose the right one for my dad
I read all the reviews on Oximeters: here are the results:There were a few that convinced me to got the one I ended up going with
How I based my decision:
- Many people had written in to write a review. There were very few negatives.
- I looked recently and there were 71 reviews total. 47 stars, 18 4 stars and 6 at 3 stars or below. I figured that was pretty darn good.
- The people sounded real and authentic. There were a lot of them who reviewed the one I chose.
- They addressed the concerns that I had.
Overall it was cheap enough to take the risk. I asked my dad to monitor and let me know as I was totally willing to return if it didn’t work. He of course was very interested in monitoring it himself. He has since reported back to me that everytime he has taken it in to the doctor they check the doctors equipment against the one he has and it is totally accurate and right on. So both my mom and dad were pretty impressed. It's always hard to pick a good present for my dad --this time we hit it spot on--giving the gift of life.
I am so happy to have my dad around and am very grateful to have a tool that can help him everyday.
(edit) Someone asked which one I chose as - Sorry I didn't make that clear. Makes sense you would want to know.
The Pulse Ox300c is the one I chose. See link below this paragraph. Looks like it is still getting good reviews and it's still working well for my dad now in 2010 I purchased in 2008.
I really want to thank all the people who take the time to write reviews on Amazon and other sites as it is really really helpful.

This would have been extremely helpful if it mentioned which oximeter you chose.
